Was a hyper active member of world’s largest youth organization JAYCEES for 13 years.

Served on several local, national and INTERNATIONAL offices of Jaycees.

Last served as PRESIDENT of parent chapter Karachi Jaycees in 1998.

•

Repeatedly appointed as EDITOR-IN-CHIEF of leading journals of Jaycees.

Recipient of numerous national and international certificates and AWARDS.

•

Practiced as an INTERNATIONAL CERTIFIED TRAINER of Jaycees International.

•

Executed several gigantic projects in Jaycees as PROJECT CHAIRMAN.

•

Represented Pakistan in Asia Pacific CONFERENCE in Pattaya – Thailand’97.

•

Represented Pakistan in the three world CONGRESSES of Jaycees International held in
Helsinki – Finland’91, Kowloon – Hong Kong’93 and Pusan – Korea’96.

•

Graduated with honours in two exclusive training academies of Jaycees,
PRIME and NALANDA, held in Mumbai’92 and Jodhpur’96, India, respectively.

•

CHAIRED a series of conventions and conferences of gigantic magnitude not only for
Junior Chamber but for All Pakistan Youth Federation and for his employers So~Safe
Water Technologies. The last event which he directed was the International convention
of So~Safe convened in Dubai, UAE (February’2004) with delegates from 25 countries.

Visited Uzbekistan on a DEVELOPMENT MISSION to launch Jaycees, on the request of
Government of Uzbekistan, as Development Officer of Jaycees international.

•

Honoured twice as the GROUP LEADER of various delegations, under the aegis of
MINISTRY OF YOUTH AFFAIRS, Government of Pakistan.

•

Apart from Jaycees, he was also an active member of the Rotract Club, Pakistan Youth
Organization and was also DEPUTY SPEAKER of All Pakistan Youth Federation.

An Accolade

Mr. Salman Siddiqui is a proud recipient of a GOLD MEDAL by UNESCO in France’93, bestowed upon him in recognition of his planning and executing a unique project STAIR, for the youth of Pakistan. Director General Federico Mayor conferred this medallion and the ceremony was televised on CNN and BBC, with Mr. Salman being exclusively interviewed by media after being declared as the most intellectual participant out of 12 recipients from all over the globe.

Current Assignment

Currently he is in Dubai to chair the organising committee of 4TH International Convention of So~Safe, http://www.sosafe.net/convention/2005 being convened in Renaissance Dubai Hotel from March 1ST to 4TH, 2005.

Family

Mr. Salman is happily married to Rizwana for last ten year. He has four kids Arham (6.5), Hareem (5), Ebaad (3.5) and Tooba (1.5).

Concluding Note

Besides the events listed above in this document, Mr. Salman also acted as the chairman of various sub-Committees on more than ten National Conventions and Mid Year Conferences of Pakistan Junior Chamber under their respective Convention Directors. He also had the privilege to design, organise and chair over one hundred medium size projects like training seminars, Installation ceremonies, medical camps, community welfare projects, social get together, press conferences, social visits to monuments and historic places for international delegations, general body and board meetings, environment promotional drives, fairs and exhibitions, educational programs, youth competitions, musical extravaganzas and other social events.
